VPK Belgium invests in the future

At VPK Group, we are constantly working on optimising our production to support our customers even better. In 2025, two major investments are planned for our Belgian corrugated board plants. These projects increase our capacity and efficiency so that we can respond to our customers’ needs faster and more flexibly.

1. New Casemaker in Oudegem

At the Oudegem site, we are investing in the replacement of two old Langston casemakers with a new modern Bobst 4-colour machine. This investment will improve production and increase quality. Start-up of the new casemaker is scheduled for early April 2025.

2. Replacement of the Corrugator in Erembodegem

In 2025, we will replace our Agnati corrugator in Erembodegem with a new BHS corrugator. This will increase our capacity and improve efficiency. The installation will take place in the summer months of 2025.

What does this mean for our customers?

We took several measures to minimise the impact on deliveries. Part of the products are produced in advance, additional external storage capacity is available and other VPK sites reserve capacity to take over productions.  With a structured bridging plan, we ensure a successful course of investment.
