Tissue World Istanbul is the only show in Turkey dedicated to the tissue industry. It will take place at the İstanbul Congress Center (ICC) from 26 to 28 October 2020, welcoming exhibitors and visitors from across Europe, Russia, CIS, Middle East, Central Asia, and Northern Africa to trade, innovate and grow to meet the latest challenges facing the sector.
Tissue World has connected the tissue industry for 25 years, across five strategic locations, Istanbul, Düsseldorf, Miami, Sao Paulo and Bangkok, to advance technology, encourage innovation and to develop environment-friendly solutions. The exhibition and conference will be held this year at the Istanbul Congress Center to connect markets from the East and West to anticipate future needs and new developments in this industry.
The 3rd edition of Tissue World Istanbul, the International Tissue Technologies, Chemicals and Auxiliary Materials Fair, will provide the most effective platform to do business, gain exposure and generate new contacts. It will host leading national and international companies, who will exhibit their latest products and relevant technical applications for the market. It will also offer a tailored conference program, adapted to the needs of the region, to enable growth in sustainable manufacturing technologies.
Turkey is the fifth-largest paper towel and tissue manufacturer in the European zone; it ranks 8th in global exports. Leading Turkish companies responsible for over 40% of imports/exports in the region will be in attendance this year. In addition, over 50% of companies attending will be international brands, showcasing cutting-edge products from 14 different countries.

The fair and conference, which constitutes the Istanbul leg of the Tissue World portfolio, will host a conference on developments in the market, new technology, innovative products and trends to respond to the increasing demand for tissue in the region. A new category will be launched in Tissue World Istanbul, which renews itself every year according to the needs of the sector and the latest developments. Our exhibitors, who play a major role in the production and supply of increasing needs in the public, such as medical masks, protective clothing and drapes during the COVID-19 outbreak, will be able to exhibit these products and production macines in the special exhibition area.

Tissue World Istanbul will provide a special presentation area for exhibitors where they can introduce the latest technology products they have developed for the industry. Their research and works for COVID-19, sustainable and efficient use of the resources which the sector emphasizes sensitively, social responsibility projects supported by the environmentally friendly production principle will be the highlights of the sessions. The 15-minute presentations, will be free for all Tissue World Istanbul visitors.

The aim of Tissue World Istanbul, 3rd International Tissue Production Technologies, Chemicals and Auxiliary Materials Exhibition & Conference is bringing together all companies, industry leaders, academicians and economists from Eastern Europe, Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Middle East, Central Asia and Africa in Istanbul to evaluate the present and future of the sector. Women in Tissue Forum, which will be held within the scope of Tissue World to support the number and employment of female managers in the sector, is expected to attract great attention this year. The event will offer its participants opportunities to witness the inspiring success stories of successful women professionals in the industry and to find new business opportunities.
In 2018 Tissue World Istanbul welcomed 1,767 international visitors from 93 countries, and 66 international exhibitors. In 2020, it will continue to be the most critical commercial and marketing platform for tissue industry professionals to engage with inspiring content and curated networking with the full value chain of suppliers.
