For its second Technical Day of the year which took place on September 26, Atip (French Technical Association of the paper industry) brought together about sixty participants in Strasbourg. This event touched on the subject, much debated at the moment, of recycled fibers. The speakers represented a wide variety of backgrounds: Copacel, Federec, Citeo, Centre technique du papier (CTP), Afnor, Revipac, Veolia, Suez, Kadant, Valmet and Fotonower. About twenty paper mill sites were represented.
The day before, a visit of Blue Paper was organized. The participants were able to discover the new Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) plant, which started in early 2019 and will be inaugurated next October 15th.
