The Castors d’Or Ceremony, an emblematic internal event held annually since 2004. This new edition, held at the Palais des Congrès in Tours, brought together nearly 2,500 of the group’s managers and employees. An unmissable event to celebrate the exceptional performances of those who, through their work and determination, embody Paprec’s core values: excellence, commitment, and fraternity.
Talent in the spotlight
More than just an award ceremony, the Castors d’Or highlight the professions that are Paprec’s strength. Each year, around thirty employees, chosen from among the group’s 17,000 members, receive this prestigious distinction. This year, as in the past, employees from all backgrounds were recognized: from machine operators to sorters, including regional managers, heavy goods vehicle drivers, and garbage truck drivers. These awards reflect the diversity of talent and the complementarity of professions within Paprec, but also the essential role of each individual in the group’s success.
The winners are selected based on their exceptional results and commitment, as well as their human qualities. A rigorous process, where nominations are submitted to a committee composed of hierarchical managers, agency, subsidiary, and regional directors, who enthusiastically defend each application.
An evening of emotion and sharing
The 2025 Castors d’Or Ceremony was marked by moments of intense emotion and collective pride. The winners were called onto the grand stage of the Palais des Congrès in Tours to receive their award from the group’s leaders, who emphasized their essential contribution to Paprec’s growth and influence. In front of an audience of 2,500 employees, this evening provided an opportunity to share the inspiring stories of those who, every day, fight for a greener planet and a more fraternal society.
“The Castors d’Or are not only rewards, they are symbols of our collective commitment to a more sustainable planet. These prizes recognize the hard work of our employees, but also an invitation to go even further in our missions,” said the president of Paprec during the awards ceremony.
