Smurfit Kappa has just announced this week the purchase of Cartonajes Carrión, a company located in Alcolea (Córdoba, Southern Spain).
The experts estimate that the deal is valued at 17 million Euros.
Cartonajes Carrión has a strong presence in retail packaging and high-quality printing. The company will be integrated into Smurfit Kappa’s operations in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. This will consolidate its position and provide further growth opportunities in the region.
With this acquisition, Smurfit Kappa will strengthen its offer as a specialist in the sector of retail packaging, high-quality printing, design and innovation.
