Would you be our new Project Manager?
As our Project Manager, you will work as a member of the EP Turbo blower project team, handling various responsibilities. These include thorough project planning with resource allocation and budgeting, risk identification and management, vigilant project implementation monitoring for technical excellence, cost control, and safety considerations. Effective project documentation, reporting, and adherence to KPIs are crucial. You will apply industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle and continuously improve project management processes. Also, your role necessitates project leadership, strong teamwork, and technical understanding, ensuring projects progress seamlessly while considering both customer and team perspectives.
The work tasks require visiting the clients on-site for start-ups, so you will need to have willingness to travel globally around 100 days in a year.
The position is full-time and permanent. Our office is based in Kotka, but you have the opportunity for flexible remote work too after the training period.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking candidates with project management experience in technical fields, particularly related to machinery, and a strong familiarity with paper machines and technical drawings is advantageous. Possessing more than 5 years of experience in project management roles will contribute to your success in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of CAD software are essential, along with strong skills in interpreting technical drawings and producing written documentation.
As a project manager you will need strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability in global projects, and an efficient way of working. You will work with various stakeholders each day and therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role. We hope that you are able to perform well under pressure and have a relaxed and flexible professional mindset. You will be continuously learning new things and it is important that you are motivated and eager to develop your skills and knowledge with our products. Language proficiency in English and Finnish is mandatory, with German as a valuable asset.
