Runtech Systems has achieved a significant milestone of 1,000 EP Turbo Blowers. Runtech’s EP Series Turbo Blowers are the heart of the RunEco Paper Machine Vacuum System, and have been delivering significant energy savings to paper mills for over 20 years.

The Turbo Blower no. 1,000 will be delivered to Shanying Suzhou Paper, at its site in Suzhou, Anhui Province, China, where the group is building two new linerboard machines PM71 and PM72 with design speed of 1,300 m/min and reel width of 8,600 mm. The total production capacity of the corrugating medium machines is around 800,000 tons per year. RunEco systems for these machines comprise of a total of 14 EP Turbo Blowers. Shanying has chosen Runtech’s vacuum system for the previous eight new paper machines.

EP Turbo Blowers are advanced blowers equipped with integrated high-speed motors controlled by a frequency converter. This makes the blowers optimal in new installations where the actual vacuum needs may become apparent only after the papermaking line is operational. By enabling capacity adjustment without the need for throttling or air losses, they optimize the vacuum system quickly and effectively. Additionally, the blower’s streamlined design, with impellers directly mounted on the motor shaft, ensures simplicity and reliability with only two bearings in the entire EP Turbo Blower. Its compact construction facilitates a fast and easy installation process
