At the age of 73, Eric Sarrat, chairman of the French company GT Logistics and grandson of the founder, has entrusted Rodolphe Cavaglieri with the general management of this family business with the aim of preparing the integration of the new generation of family members who are due to join its ranks shortly. Indeed, the first of Eric Sarrat’s six grandchildren, Thibault Pfaff, 18 years old and a shareholder in the company for more than 10 years, is preparing to join his grandfather. To this end, he will start a Bachelor’s degree at the IDRAC Business School in Bordeaux and will alternate his training with internships within the family business.
Since the end of March, Rodolphe Cavaglieri has been in charge of the general management (photo taken with Eric Sarrat). « My role is to support the company’s growth by boosting the conquest of new markets, and to develop our information systems while keeping HR policy at the heart of our processes, » explains the new CEO. Eric Sarrat remains non-executive chairman. GT Logistics has a turnover of €70 million and over 1,100 employees. It should be noted that its management committee is composed of three women and two men.
