ProJet will deliver 8 Tail Cutters to OEM YueLi, Taiwan . It will be two (2) dry end High Pressure Tail Cutters for the four (4) new paper machines of Nine Dragons Paper. The order was included in ProJet’s December orders received. The value of the order will not be disclosed. First 4 Tail Cutters to be supplied in April 2023 and 4 more in August 2023. All 4 new paper machines will produce a sheet width of 6660mm and have a design speed of 1100m/min. The machines will produce Kraft bag paper and Corrugated medium at 60 – 140 gr/m2.
The ProJet High Pressure Tail Cutters can be equipped with redundant pumps and redundant nozzles guaranteeing the highest availability of the system. Pressure used is up to 500bar (8,000psi) and the Tail Width is adjustable from 20-300mm (0.8-12 in.) The ProJet HP Tail Cutters generate a 100% reliable clean cut, guaranteeing maximum reliability of Tail Threading. One Tail Cutter will be installed before the Size Press and the second before the reel at the end of the machine.
Water-jet nozzles have ruby tips, with typical sizes between 0.05-0.60mm.
