ProCon appoints Claudio Muñoz as Vice President of Innovation, Sales and Marketing


Progressive Converting, Inc. (ProCon), North America’s largest independent provider of paper converting, barrier coatings and supply chain solutions for the paper and packaging industry, announced today the appointment of Claudio Muñoz as the new Vice President of Innovation, Sales and Marketing. In his new role, Muñoz will join the senior leadership team and lead the growth and innovation strategies for ProCon’s Vireo® coating business.

Muñoz brings nearly two decades of global experience in the paper industry, with expertise spanning both technical and commercial domains. His deep understanding of fiber and polymer technology, paper production and strategic brand management has been honed through his previous tenure at industry leaders such as Kimberly Clark, Körber Tissue and Advanced Micro Devices.

Muñoz holds advanced degrees in materials science and forest products science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Guadalajara, as well as a chemical engineering degree from the University of Concepción in Chile.
