Production at Metsä Board’s paperboard mills will be temporarily shut down due to ongoing political strikes in Finland. Production at Metsä Board’s paperboard mills in Simpele, Kyro, Tako and Äänekoski will stop on Monday, March 25.
Previously, Metsä Board’s BCTMP mills in Joutseno and Kaskinen as well as Metsä Board’s Kemi board mill have shut down production due to ongoing strikes.
The production can be restarted when the raw material deliveries and product transportations continue.
