Tissue World Istanbul, the biennial exhibition and conference gathering the tissue industry from Turkey and the neighbouring countries, was supposed to be held next September. It is being postponed. The event will now take place on 26-28 October 2020 at the Istanbul Congress Center. Informa, the organizer, just sent the following message to their clients and partners:
In light of global challenges impacting the industry, our top priority is to provide a safe environment for everyone involved in Tissue World Istanbul; our customers, attendees, partners and colleagues.
As the only trade show in the region dedicated to this industry, we are expecting 40% of our trade buyers to visit the event from other countries. Therefore we believe it is in the best interests of all participants to move the dates of the show.
In the meantime, we are also continuing to liaise directly with all relevant authorities while monitoring and complying with guidance from the World Health Organization and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health. More information will be made available on our website.
