Metsä Fibre, part of Metsä Group, has won an Ozzie for its sawn timber customer magazine in the prestigious Folio Awards 2023 for international customer communications and content marketing. Timber magazine won its Ozzie in the category for annual publications. It also received an honourable mention in the category for redesigned magazines. Timber is produced by Hube Helsinki Ltd.
The layout and content concept of Timber magazine, Metsä Fibre’s magazine for its sawn timber customers, was redesigned in spring 2023. Its illustrations use the work of leading Northern European photographers and its content emphasises the timelessness that is required of an annual publication.
“Winning the series and being awarded an honourable mention in such a high-level competition was a pleasant surprise for us. We are proud of this success, because we have worked hard on our magazine, as part of our drive to serve our sawn timber customers even better. I would like to thank the entire team at Metsä Fibre and Hube Helsinki who have been involved in the redesign,” said Eva Martin, VP Marketing at Metsä Fibre.
The international Folio Awards Eddie & Ozzie have been presented for the best customer communications and content marketing execution for more than 25 years. Metsä Fibre’s previous customer magazine redesign was awarded an honourable mention in the competition in 2020.
