Metsä Board, part of Metsä Group, has been recognised by CDP for their work to engage with suppliers to jointly tackle climate change. Only the top 8% of companies who disclosed information for the full climate questionnaire achieved a place on the CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard.
The CDP Supplier Engagement assessment complements the CDP results published in December 2021, in which Metsä Board secured a place on CDP’s prestigious A List for tackling climate change, as well as using water resources and forests sustainably – all three environmental themes covered by CDP.
CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognised as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency.
