The Celli family holding expands its portfolio of companies, seizing the opportunity to enhance a company in the Lucca area that requires synergies to relaunch its range of products and services in Italy and abroad.
Italia Technology Alliance (ITA Holding) welcomes Sipack Srl, a company based in Lucca specialized in complete production lines for corrugated cardboard boxes, such as case makers, printer-slotters, rotary die-cutters, flexo printers, and folder gluers. The acquisition will also expand the possibilities for retrofitting existing lines, both in terms of mechanical components and automation and control systems.
Sipack Srl’s products integrate seamlessly with the existing offering within the A.Celli Group, particularly with SADAS, the industrial automation company that is also expanding its portfolio of solutions and services beyond the paper and tissue industries, and Smartlogistix, which will be able to fully integrate the intralogistics management of finished corrugated cardboard products through autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs and AMRs), automated warehouses, and related management software
“Sipack is a company from the Lucca area which, over the years, thanks to the disruptive passion and great expertise of Walter Pacioni, has managed to design, build, and successfully operate machinery for customers demanding top-tier performance,” commented Mauro Celli, shareholder of ITA Holding. “I am confident that Sipack’s organization, supported by the services and expertise of ITA Holding and the other group companies, will be a strong accelerator to reinforce our market offering in terms of products and services.”
Walter Pacioni, Founder & CEO of Sipack Srl, stated: “From the moment I spoke with Alessandro and Mauro Celli of ITA Holding, I realized that my vision for Sipack’s future development had found its match in a group with 80 years of experience in building custom machinery and systems. The opportunity to immediately develop synergies in technical, commercial, automation, customer service, and truly integrated solutions for our customers was the boost to define this new set-up. I look forward to continuing to visit our clients and to meet new ones, now able to present a stronger, more innovative structure, increasingly attentive to market needs.”
Walter Pacioni will serve as CEO of Sipack Srl, supported by the new Board of Directors, which will also include Luca Brugioni, CFO of ITA Holding, and Simone Bertuccelli, Technical Director of A.Celli Nonwovens.
