Metsä Fibre has chosen ISS Palvelut Oy as the safest service provider of the year 2024. The basis for the selection is ISS’s strong commitment to occupational safety.
“The proactive safety work regularly performed by the ISS Palvelut Oy we chose as the safest service provider helps our units to further develop occupational safety and thus ensure a safe working environment for everyone. They didn’t have any accidents as our service provider during 2024,” says Mikko Nieminen, SVP, Pulp production.
“At Metsä Fibre we consider safety to be the most important professional skill, and our goal is zero accidents. We want to constantly improve safety by learning and sharing best practices with our suppliers and partners,” Nieminen continues.
The principles of Metsä Fibre’s safety management apply to all service providers, and the company annually assesses the safety of its service providers. The goal is also to encourage the entire industry to further develop occupational safety.
