Heat Management Landed 3 new Purchase Orders During the Summer of 2024!


During the summer vacation, we have kept ourselves busy!

Our salespeople and project teams have worked cleverly during the warmer months, bringing in more exciting opportunities. This growth in our future references will allow us to expand as a company and keep adding value to both new and recurring customers who explore the rest of our solutions portfolio.

The following purchase orders have come through this summer:

Brazil

Our new Brazilian customer ordered HISS™ in late July. This second HISS™ project in Brazil will be an essential reference for Heat Management in the South American market. The project’s goal is to save steam for the customer since the mill is steam-deficient.

Safety, responsible resource management, and energy-efficient processes are always top of mind for our new customer in Brazil. Sustainability and competitiveness are intrinsically connected in their daily operations.

A tailor-made solution was developed with skilled mill specialists for the mill’s recovery boiler. Heat Management’s market-unique absolute process guarantees make the customers’ sustainability journey risk-free and comfortable.

HISS™ is scheduled to be commissioned in April 2025.

Sweden­

Heat Management’s new Carryover Early Warning System monitors changes in the recovery boiler firing process in the flue gas. The first mill to implement the new solution is a recurring customer of Heat Management, who previously installed HISSTM in their boiler in 2021.

The system will give early indications, e.g., of fouling build-up and carryover. This early warning will help the operator take necessary actions before a problem occurs. It will also help understand how load and process parameters affect the carryover.

The Carryover Early Warning System records and stores pictures of the sootblower lance. The images will be automatically analyzed and stored with a value. The value can be used to track the changes in the lance’s coating.

Germany

Steinmüller Engineering is delivering a new flue-gas treatment system for a Waste-to-Energy boiler in Germany. This system includes a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). Steinmuller’s primary goal is to maintain the cleanliness of the SCR to keep the pressure drop stable and operational, and maintenance costs low.

The solution chosen relies on sound waves at an application-specific frequency in the Infrasound range (15 to 30 Hz) at a level of about 140 dB, creating high gas movement in the flue gas passing the SCR catalyst layers and comprehensibly creating turbulence close to all surfaces for 1.5 to 2 seconds every four or every five minutes.

The order from Steinmüller Engineering for the Infrasound cleaner will be the 5th on an SCR owned by the end customer.
