Essity is committed to the charter of the United Nations, we stand for human rights and oppose any breach of international laws.
We are doing everything we can for the health and safety of our employees and their families as well as supporting humanitarian efforts to help the people of Ukraine. We have donated 1MSEK to UNHCR, which has the global mandate to coordinate all refugee efforts on the ground in and around Ukraine and does this in close collaboration with many other important organizations.
Additionally, we are supporting UNHCR with donations of our much-needed essential hygiene and health products as well as warehouse space. With our Libero brand Essity is also supporting Save the Children with 1,3MSEK.
We have internally posted links to UNHCR and the Red Cross and many employees are also contributing.
