Cellwood Machinery AB acquires Metrans AB, one of Scandinavia’s leading companies of bale handling and waste paper handling for paperm’lls. This acquisition was made on 1 March 2021, thus reinforcing Cellwood Machinery’s leading position in the global pulp and paper industry.

With this addition, our existing range gets a boost and becomes wider, whilst at the same time we can expand with several new product areas. Metrans will continue as a stand-alone company as part of Cellwood
Machinery, which a so includes Algas GmbH. Bo Emanuelson, CEO of Metrans and former owner, looks forward to continued development of the operations.
