Cartiere Saci Broadens Recycling Capabilities with Kadant Foundations Technology
Cartiere Saci, the leading European producer of 100% recycled shopping bags, announced the purchase and start-up of the new Kadant Heli-Drum pulping system. The Heli-Drum system treats the broadest range of recycled fibres of any system found on the market today, and can efficiently process kraft paper, carrier board, and Tetra Pak aseptic packages.
As part of the Kadant Foundations Fiber Product Line, the Heli-Drum is a key element in the mill’s strategic plan to improve productivity and to provide a consistently premium product for their customers. Properly processed raw materials are the primary guarantee of sustainably uniform, high quality finished products. The optimised processing technology of the Kadant Foundations line enables Cartiera Saci capability to proactively adapt to the needs of a changing market, producing the highest quality paper and offer a greater selection of products.
