The Esco HOG TIE® Boiler Tube Weld Alignment Clamp Kit includes everything necessary to achieve accurate horizontal and vertical gap spacing to assure the proper gap for producing high-integrity boiler tube joint welds. Providing a fast and easy way to speed boiler tube fit-up and reduce tube joint failures caused by misalignment, this tube alignment clamp is now offered with a safety lanyard to prevent dropping.
Simple to use, one side of the Esco HOG TIE® Boiler Tube Weld Alignment Clamp has two through-holes and the other has threaded inserts which accept two bolts that draw them together; exposing the tube ends for tack welding before removal to finish the weld. Kits come in 7 sizes for 31.8 mm to 82.55 mm O.D. tubes and include an impact wrench and socket, four 12.7 mm bolts, 2 spare through-hole inserts, 2 threaded inserts, and a metal case.
