BA Systèmes opens a new chapter in its history as part of the Alstef Group and becomes Alstef Mobile Robotics.
French leader in AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) systems, BA Systèmes offers innovative robotic solutions for the intralogistics and airport markets. The company has been designing, manufacturing, and testing its AGV-AMR systems for almost 50 years in its factory near Rennes, France.
Alstef Group: global teams united around a single brand
In 2018, BA Systèmes joined forces with Alstef Automation to create Alstef Group, the specialist in automated turnkey solutions for the airport, intralogistics, and parcel sorting markets. This merger enabled the two companies to combine their expertise, strengthen their synergies and develop a broader offering to meet the
needs of their customers.
Since then, the group has accelerated its development and consolidated its international footprint with the acquisition of New Zealand-based Glidepath in 2020 and US-based Solutions Net Systems in 2023. At the same time, Alstef Group has been bringing together the skills of its various entities under a single Alstef Group
banner, clearly demonstrating its identity and ambition.
Now present in 15 countries, with systems installed on all five continents, Alstef Group employs nearly 800 people and generated revenue over €160 million in 2022.
Alstef Mobile Robotics: an engineering center dedicated to AGV-AMR technology
Last March, the Alstef Group teams celebrated the Group’s fifth anniversary, looking back on five years of ambitious projects, commitment, and challenges, but also opening a new chapter in the history of BA Systèmes.
BA Systèmes is thus pleased to announce its new name: Alstef Mobile Robotics. As of June, 6th 2023, the company will adopt its new denomination, to better reflect its strategic vision and its deep integration within the Alstef Group.
