AFT Oy is proud to have been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis for our sustainability and corporate social responsibility performance.
The EcoVadis rating is based on a broad range of criteria assessing a company’s engagement and performance in the areas of ethics, environment, labor & human rights, and sustainable procurement. The silver rating means that we score in the top 25% of more than 75,000 companies worldwide.
AFT’s vision of sustainability is to ensure long-term business viability through tangible value contributions to our customers and to the communities in which we work and live. We believe that sustainability must be an integral part of our overall culture – including our product design and development, the people of AFT, our operations, our supply chain, and our corporate citizenship.
By improving our EcoVadis rating, we have demonstrated our commitment to responsible business operations through our ecological, social and ethical performance. Key factors contributing to the improvement in our scorecard include increased sustainability data reporting (carbon footprint, water consumption, energy use, and hazardous chemicals), new supplier evaluation protocols, and the creation of a data protection manual.
We are proud that our continuous efforts to integrate CSR into AFT’s corporate strategy and values have been recognized, and that our business practices will lead to long term positive social and environmental benefits.
