The German paper producer Palm Aalen and Runtech Systems have signed a 5-year RunCare Agreement covering the RunEco EP Turbo Blowers on PM5. This fluting and liner machine, with a trimmed paper width of 10,9 m, has a capacity of 750,000 tons/year. To celebrate the agreement, Jelle Schuivens, Sales Manager, Runtech Systems, presented a carbon fiber plate to Alexander Kanditt, Mill Manager, Palm Aalen PM5.
“What we have here with Palm Aalen is a true partnership. These turbo blowers have soon been running for four years at the guaranteed power consumption from the beginning. Adjustability is a key feature of our system. Together we make sure the turbos continue running at an optimal level at all times,” says Jelle Schuivens.
“Runtech Technology fits perfectly in our long-term sustainability strategy,” says Alexander Kanditt.
RunCare Agreement is a comprehensive service contract that simplifies maintenance, manages costs, and boosts vacuum system efficiency. These customized agreements ensure that vacuum systems operate optimally with minimal effort required from mill staff.
Already favored by 30% of Runtech’s clientele, the RunCare concept is gaining traction due to its focus on addressing customer challenges effectively. Routine services and audits by Runtech’s experts are critical for the smooth operation of paper mills, offering insights into potential improvements and the overall health of the equipment. These evaluations are integral to enhancing energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and optimizing production, starting with a thorough understanding of the papermaking process and its nuances.
