
The change negotiations held at Metsä Fibre’s Lappeenranta, Renko and Vilppula sawmills on possible temporary layoffs of up to 90 days have ended. After the end of the change negotiations, the company has made a decision according to which, the sawmills may, if necessary, implement temporary layoffs for the entire personnel as of April 2025 and by the end of December 2025. The duration of temporary layoffs is up to 90 days.
