Pierre Bonnet (photo) was elected president of the Paper Technical Center (Centre technique du Papier or CTP, based in Grenoble, France) on the occasion of the renewal of its Board of Directors. He was also appointed president of Techpap, the “Instrumentation” subsidiary of CTP. He succeeds Olivier Tassel who will, however, continue to serve as vice-president of the CTP board of directors. Pierre Bonnet is also a board member of Copacel.
A graduate of Polytech Clermont in 1994, he began his career at Siemens before joining the Vicat group as director of “Purchasing, Energy & Raw Materials”, then also head of “Industrial Ecology and Circular Economy”. He is today Managing Director of Papeteries de Vizille which belongs to the Vicat group.
