Compact has just won two orders for their energy efficient infrared dryers. One application is to dry the wet edges on a board machine to improve the quality of the board by ensuring that it shrinks at the same time as the rest of the sheet in the machine direction.
The second order is for a coating drying system to be installed after a film press, replacing a hot air dryer.
Both applications will result in improved machine productivity and efficiency with paybacks under 300 days.
Installation for both systems is slated for this summer.
