Job Summary
As Plant Controller, you would perform all cost accounting and financial reporting functions for Runtech Operations and Sales, as part of the global Ingersoll Rand corporation. You would have experience in projects or manufacturing operations and commercial activities.
The position is based in one of Runtech Systems offices in Finland preferably Turku or Kotka, but with alternative to work mainly from home office. Position will report to finance business partner of Low Pressure group within Ingersoll Rand.
Responsibilities
· Prepares financial statements, forecasts, and planning cycles on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
· Responsible for all plant accounting including general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, inventory, receivables, payables, and internal control.
· Coordinates external accounting function
· Oversees and maintains appropriate internal controls, including SOX compliance routines and completing requests from internal and external auditors
· Responsible for maintaining and following project and product costing
· Supports Runtech finance business partner, general manager and other functional operations leaders to improve business results
· Performs business analytics, with the help of Tableau; helping the line staff understand their overall financial results and underlying profitability within their scope of the business’s financial results
· Supports special projects on as needed basis, especially regarding development of local ERP system.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Opportunity to work mainly remotely.
Key Competencies
· 5+ years finance/accounting experience, with strong business acumen and broad understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
· Experience with the accounting cycle, budgets and forecasting
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Excel; experience of modern BI tools such as Tableau/Qlik; knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle R12 and Hyperion Planning preferred
· Ability to work independently and perform in a fast-paced environment
· Fluent in English and Finnish
