Kadant Fiberline (China) Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), announced the successful start-up of its OCC and approach flow systems on Shanying International’s new recycled pulp line in Prachin Buri province, Thailand.
The new recycled pulp facility in Thailand began test runs in May using OCC furnish from the U.S. With China’s full recovered paper (RCP) import restrictions starting at the beginning of 2021, the recycled pulp output from the Thailand plant is expected to be shipped to China to feed the company’s board machines.
